Privacy Policy
This policy describes how information is handled when you use Keyvio (the “App”), a relationship CRM for real estate professionals published by EC & Co. LLC. The App is free to download. Keyvio Pro is sold through Apple’s App Store (including a free trial when offered there). After initial setup, the CRM features require an active subscription. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Summary
- Keyvio is designed so contact names and contact details remain in Apple Contacts; the App stores links (identifiers) plus CRM fields you add inside Keyvio.
- Keyvio is free to install; Keyvio Pro is a subscription that unlocks the product after onboarding, billed by Apple when you subscribe.
- Your Keyvio CRM data is stored on your device using Apple’s SwiftData. Version 1.0 does not sync your CRM database to EC & Co. servers—we do not operate a cloud backup or account service for that data today.
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full payment card number.
- Version 1.0 does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. If that changes in a future release, we will update this policy before or when the feature ships.
Who we are
The App is published by EC & Co. LLC, a United States company. For privacy-related requests, contact support@keyvio.app.
Information the App accesses on your device
Apple Contacts
With your permission, Keyvio reads contacts you work with so you can pick clients, show names and phones in the UI, and use birthdays and similar fields for reminders. Keyvio stores the Apple contact identifier for each client and CRM information you create inside the App (for example status, notes, deals, interactions). It does not upload your address book to EC & Co. LLC servers in version 1.0.
Calendar
With your permission, Keyvio may read calendar events to detect showings, birthdays, and related dates to power reminders and insights. Calendar data is processed on your device to support these features.
Notifications
With your permission, Keyvio schedules local notifications on your device (for example follow-ups and milestones). Notification content is derived from data already on your device.
Maps and media
The App may use Apple system services (such as MapKit) to show maps or imagery you request—for example around a property. Those requests are subject to Apple’s policies for those services.
Information we collect
On-device CRM data
Deal terms, checklists, logged activities, preferences, and similar content you enter are stored locally in the App’s database on your device. Deleting the App may erase that data unless Apple’s system backup and restore applies on a new device—refer to Apple’s documentation for device backups.
Optional on-device message suggestions
Where supported by your device and OS, the App may use Apple’s on-device language features to suggest message wording from the context you already have in Keyvio (for example client and deal summaries). That processing runs on your device; we do not receive the model’s prompts or outputs on EC & Co. servers in version 1.0. If the feature is unavailable, the App uses deterministic templates instead.
Purchases and subscriptions (Apple)
If you subscribe to Keyvio Pro, Apple processes payment using your Apple ID. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple may share limited transaction-related information with us (for example product identifier, subscription status, trial state, and renewal dates) so we can unlock Pro features in the App. Apple’s use of your information is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
Support email
If you email support@keyvio.app, we receive whatever you choose to include in that message and our ordinary email metadata (such as addresses and timestamps).
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide CRM features (clients, deals, reminders, insights, and related workflows).
- Deliver and verify subscription entitlements for Keyvio Pro.
- Respond to support requests and improve the App.
- Comply with law and protect our users and business.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. In version 1.0 we do not operate our own advertising platform. We may share information with service providers that help us run the business (for example email hosting for support@keyvio.app), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Apple processes App Store purchases as an independent party under its own terms.
Retention
CRM data created in Keyvio remains on your device until you delete it in the App, delete the App, or erase the device, subject to your own backups. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and for ordinary business records unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We rely on Apple’s platform protections for on-device storage and follow reasonable practices for any company systems that process support mail. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
Keyvio is intended for adults in a professional context and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes.
International users
EC & Co. LLC is based in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your message may be stored or processed in the United States.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain information, or to lodge a complaint with a regulator. Contact support@keyvio.app. For data that exists only on your device, deleting the App or specific records inside the App is often the fastest way to remove it from that device.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (for example to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing). We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are commonly defined for California residents in version 1.0; contact us if you have a specific request.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. If we introduce material new data practices (such as cloud sync or analytics), we will describe them here and, where required, obtain consent before they take effect.
